Welcome to my {(jQuery)} Lab... Please take caution! It aint purty!

For now this is just holding much of my trials, experiments, tests, and otherwise attempts at learning various jQuery plugins and libraries for my 'ProtoCraft' Tech Talent South Final Project. The end product will be its own Rails app in which uses the database to allow folks to store, share, edit, and play with their crafted objects. A super MVC to Flubbi (link up soon).

This is a sentence!

Drag me!

X: Y:

Note: I can store the position variable (on click release) in the 'Drag Me!' circle... but how do I implement this into every cloned element below (with the triangles)? Seems to be a problem with the IDs.. but not sure how to make this work through an increment id name# loop...

Finally success with cloning and draggable clones!.... But it seems to inherit the class...Looks like clip-paths and thus CSSpolygonss cannot be used :(

Note: Clip path seems to only work if another class is set 'behind' it... ie it is more a cropping tool rather than a creation tool. So you can create shape, but only because it is clip/cropping a default shape/picture.

Drag me! Double click (the clone) to rotate!

DIV WONT SHOW UP IN CANVAS?!

Note: Rotate() method seems to only work optimally if the cursor is still 'mouseover' the div/shape.. will have to fix that... Note: This method of creating shapes (basically by 'hacking' the Box Model to make the borders look like a triangle... does so by making thick borders, hiding three of them, and so the intersections of the borders create the angles... ) Note: Need to find a way to use the same or similar method of reading/recording position data into each cloned element in order to store them in a database...

Note: the above might work if I make all clip-path polygons within a canvass that doubles as the basic shape/picture to clipped... then make the clip-path class/fill a different color than the background...

Aspirational inspiration!!!
